Reinforcing Grids for Gravel Paving
Gravel surfaces reinforced with StablePATH, StableDRIVE and StablePAVE HD Pro gravel grids prevent sinking, rutting and migration of aggregate, creating a naturally permeable paving option.
Compressive load resistance is improved, surface water run-off is eliminated and sustainability enhanced.
Produced in a user friendly panel size of 1.200 mtr x 0.800mtr, complete with a robust weed suppressant membrane attached to the base, StablePAVE is fast and easy to install. The three products provide a solution for everything from pedestrian pathways through to heavy duty, heavily trafficked surfaces.
Design Criteria
The design criteria of all panels is to provide a permeable, paved surface able to handle pedestrian use, light/medium car and van access, with occasional heavier usage by emergency, utility, maintenance or delivery vehicles.
Wheelchair access suitability can be readily achieved by combining the grids with an approved aggregate selection.
In the case of StablePAVE HD pro the fully interlocked grids have a capability to accommodate much heavier vehicles, with enhanced lateral load resistance.
Sustainability
The concept makes a significant contribution to overall aspects of any project.
In addition to the reduced impact on surface drainage capacity demand, all products are manufactured utilising a significant proportion of re-cycled raw material and are in themselves fully recyclable.
StablePATH 22 White
StablePATH 22 White is a grid specifically developed for pedestrian only applications.
A combination of a larger cell width and a depth of 22mm, makes this a very flexible, wheelchair friendly and economic option for pathways, terraces, social spaces and roof gardens.
StableDRIVE 30 and 40
Is the most extensively utilised grid in the range, being eminently suitable for residential driveways, parking, paths and patios, together with landscaping of public pedestrianised areas.
Available at both 30mm and 40mm depths the translucent white grids are visually unobtrusive and designed to be buried by the aggregate.
StablePAVE HD PRO
StablePAVE HD PRO at 38mm deep, is a development of our heavier duty grass paving grids. Utilising the rugged interlocking connector system of that product, with the addition of a robust weed suppressant membrane attached to the base, this panel offers all the performance benefits of both concepts.
StablePAVE HD PRO is ideal for heavier trafficked areas such as regular use car parks, communal access and any area where heavier point load vehicles, such as horse boxes, trailers and caravans are to be accommodated.
